BACKGROUND

Applegate is also a successful entrepreneur and established business leader, currently working as the Chief Operations Officer at Enjin; a company that has developed a completely flexible, free platform for creating, integrating and scaling tokenized gaming assets on the blockchain. Additionally, Applegate is a co-owner of gaming company, Mineplex; one of the world’s largest Minecraft gaming servers and is an Official Minecraft Partner.

Applegate has a passion for teaching leadership and business development as well as advising new and established businesses. He and his family reside in the Pacific Northwest.

FILMS

Caleb Applegate has been involved in numerous development projects, film, and commercial productions in a producer capacity. His first feature film, Dear Eleanor, was acquired and distributed by Sony Pictures and directed by Kevin Connolly (HBO’s Entourage) and starred Jessica Alba, Luke Wilson, Josh Lucas, Liana Liberato, Isabelle Fuhrman, Joel Courtney, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. It was released theatrically in 2016.

Previously, Applegate obtained the film rights to C.S. Lewis’s Great Divorce and worked with Hisau Kurosawa (son of famed Director, Akira Kurosawa) on a groundbreaking experimental short film based on poet Francis Thompson’s acclaimed work, The Hound of Heaven.

NEXT PROJECT

Applegate's next feature film project, All Those Small Things, is being produced through Chi Rho Films, and will be directed by award winning writer / director Andrew Hyatt (Paul, Apostle of Christ, Full of Grace), and stars James Faulkner (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey).
